Microsoft now lets you enable add-ins on the Outlook 2016 app for Mac, which means you can now send GIFs on your emails using the Giphy add-in, translate emails using the Microsoft Translator add-in, or quickly add new cards to Trello using its official add-in. The real, big new addition that’s coming to Outlook 2016 with the latest update is actually support for add-ins. The app will also show a neat toggle between the email and calendar view that will let you easily switch between your Outlook Mail and Calendar. Outlook 2016 will also give you access to things like flagging, replying, forwarding, archiving, etc. With the Touch Bar support, you will get access to the common formatting options while writing a new email or replying to an email. Microsoft actually announced Touch Bar support for Outlook 2016 back in October of last year, and it’s been 5 months since the company’s initial announcement regarding its plans for Touch Bar. The company is finally rolling out support for Touch Bar on the new MacBook Pros to Outlook 2016. If you heavily use Microsoft apps and services on your Mac and own one of the latest MacBook Pros, you might be glad to know that Microsoft has a pretty sweet update for the Outlook app on your Mac.
